I tried for two days to write about time. All of the clichés came to mind. It doesn't heal all wounds and it never stands still. You can't hate it or love it - it just is.

"Clocks slay time... time is dead as long as it is being clicked off by little wheels; only when the clock stops does time come to life."
William Faulkner

First of all, your image is well done, telling a powerful, and personal, story.

There was a period of several years where I removed my watch, helping me to live in the moment and not watching time. My work requires me to wear one now and I don't like it. And, you are right, time does not heal.

Here's another hug: Hug!
