Lunch

Homemade pizza and beer.

It's a beautiful day here, warm but low humidity. Watched the hummingbirds for a while and then took my car to be washed.

The worst of times

I am filled with sorrow for the families of the latest massacre. And filled anger towards the killer, the system that allowed him to purchase an AR15, the lack of anyone intervening when he gave all the signs and perhaps stopping this latest atrocity, and the complete dereliction of duty on the part of the law enforcement who showed up and basically did nothing.

That's a lot of anger. It keeps happening. And it only happens here in the good old usa. I'm sick of it. And half of our elected officials have no desire to change anything.

There's no photo to accompany this post. There's no picture to convey my anguish.

Days of Wine and...

 Tomatoes?

This month's wine shipment included crayons to color the Tattoo Girl label. :)

The Party's Over

The pool hasn't officially opened yet but there was a private party. Not many swimmers, I think the water is probably still too cold but the flamingos were afloat.

Timing

Finally, everything is right for mornings on the balcony.  The temp is low 60s, the worst of the pollen has abated, and

May it last for a while.

Lucky 13th

Well, it would have been better had there been more light. I'll try again this afternoon when the sky is supposed to be brighter.

Grab Shots

I hadn't picked up a real camera in over two weeks so I took the Fuji with me as I ran errands.

May, Merry Merry Month?

Well, the weather has turned Summer and I hate it.

The news is awful. But I have found an alternative to FB and Twitter, counter.social The folks there are friendly and helpful. It's growing fast so I hope the climate doesn't deteriorate.

Meanwhile, strawberries and Inner-Geranium.
