To tree or not to tree...

I don't think I've ever not had a decorated tree in my home at Christmas time, but this year may be the first. It's not just that there's no-one to put it up and take it down for me becuse I could easily get a small tree. But I don't think the presence or absence of decorations will make me any less sad.

It's not a grinch thing... I sincerely hope all the Who's down in Whoville have a wonderful Christmas.

Try decorating without a tree - much more straightforward and easier to tidy up afterwards :)

That;s the point Lee, I don't think any of it would make me feel festive. If the house was full of family, I'd decorate to the rafters. So, it seems a hollow gesture to deck the halls this year.

Ya do what ya feels like doing or not doing. Simple is good. The last couple of years my decorations have been a three foot tree with built in lights and a stocking, with candy in it. All holiday seasons will never be the same. Make what you want. Enjoy it to the extent you can. And, if at all possible eat some chocolate. Hugs
