Hopefully, Ian passes through without much damage.
I moved in on Wednesday and I have so very much to unpack. Beau watches and approves.

Summer is finally hitting the road, hallelujah!
Beau, in his carrier, for a vet appointment.
A wish for Good Luck, seen along the roadside while sitting in traffic.
And, the final sunrise of Summer.
I'm going to miss these blossoms. I don't think there will be enough sunlight on my new patio.
The move is progressing nicely. The unboxing... well, I'm making a dent in the process.
Had an appointment with a cardiologist today. No one has a clue what caused the chest pains. So, let's order more tests! A cardiac MRI for example. I'm skeptical.
The temperatures are cooling off a bit. I'm still filling boxes at apartment #1 and emptying boxes at apartment #2. So tired.
Yesterday morning was perfect for coffee on the balcony, watching the hummingbirds and admiring the hibiscus,
Today's pizza, recipe from Half Baked Harvest: Caramelized Shallot and Bacon Goat Cheese. Fig preserves too! OMG delicious!
And now, a nap. ;)
For the next month, I will have two residences. I'm already confused.
Meanwhile, this hibiscus bush is going crazy with blossoms.
Life goes on. No more pain, thankfully. I signed the lease for my new apartment so the next several weeks will be a busy time, gradually moving everything out/in. I woke up at 2am making a mental list of what I need to take with me today. I'm not moving heavy stuff, that will be done by my son and grandson.
A few pictures from the end of August. (I was disappointed that my niece didn't take a photo of the ambulance as they took me away. lol)
