A Shot in the Arm

Received my second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine yesterday. No side effects so far. I'm hoping my angst level will begin to subside. I might start planning a short trip for late summer.

Tis still the season?

Someone in the building across from mine is apparently refusing to let Christmas go. Got a new lens today, the 70-300, took a few pics from my balcony. Seems pretty decent.

In this crop, my building is reflected in the gold ornament.

And Eggs

Practicing for Easter? Nah, just put some pressure cooked eggs on a pretty plate. Then I gussied it up. 

Hope everyone is having an eggcellent first day of Spring. It was a cold start to the day here, so I've not put my flip flops on yet. 

Pi Day

And DST day. I've had to read a clock manual, a ring flash manual and relearn how to xfer pics from camera to phone. I put the ring flash on my XT-1, just in case it did some weird electrical thing... seems to work though I need more experimentation. I'm tired.

Of course, there is the pollen. Watery eyes, runny nose, headachy... but 75° feels so good. I expect my newly washed car to be covered in pollen when I go out this morning. Achoo!!
