The full moon is waning and the prediction of the end of the world has been disproved once again. That these people have a following always makes me shake my head in disbelief. But, I suppose the heart wants what the heart wants. As fallible humans, we put our faith in people and ideas that don't always make sense and cannot be proven or verified. That's the foundation of religion, right? And of love?

Can love be verified? Quite a philosophical question to start the week. I don't know. That probably means no.

I think that love absolutely cannot be verified. From the couple who have been married forever to the couple just starting out together, love is not guaranteed and to take it for granted is a huge mistake.
