and finally

Laughter and carefree summer days.
But each of us senses the missing one... and imagines that we see him there, smiling.

As much as time passes and we go on... he is always in out hearts and minds.

NOTE: This is my final SoFoBoMo post. It turned out to be a most difficult process for me... examining My (Still) Life since the passing of my husband in December. Some days it was very painful, like reopening a wound that had just begun to heal...

If it not helps but only makes it worse, you're doing the right thing. I will miss your posts anyway, since I really like your images and poetry. I understand they are sprung from deep sorrow, but to me your silent observations of life can also be seen from an universal level. At least do I recognise myself a little in the thoughts you've shared. Hope you're getting to feel better soon.

Faye, your work is powerful, your words are powerful. They may be still lifes in what seems to be your still life, but there is so much vital energy contained in the whole. I look forward to the book. And, I will make a point in coming here from time to time to listen some more.
