Near and Far

Autumn is finally here. Cool weather, leaves just beginning to turn. Trees at higher elevations are nearly past peak. I miss my annual drive to Black Rock Mtn State Park in north Georgia. C'est la vie. 

Today, I'm getting gel injections in my knees (monovisc). I'm hoping they will ease at least some pain... I need sleep.

a faded macro kind of day.

I can't say that I'm thrilled with my 80mm lens; I can't seem to get the focus where I want. I put the 60mm on the X-T3 and it might have been a little better. Frustrating.

Update: I've done some research and I now understand when to use the 60mm and when to use the 80mm.

Changes

Well, the Fall-ish weather is finally here. The hummingbirds left while I was on vacation. I knew the nectar would run out before I got back but I've refilled the feeder several times and no one has shown up. 

This is a photo I took at the beach with the night setting on my phone. I thought it was kinda cool in an artsy way.

I've been to the car wash and now I'm sipping a cappuccino on the balcony.

I think Mr. Froggy should be returned to ground level. He has no friends or family here on the fifth floor; he must be lonely. Don't his eyes look lonely to you? Now to find someone to assist in the relocation... what if I submit a maintenance request. ;)

Went to Tattoo Bill's Wednesday and got a new tattoo. My second ever, the first one 15 years ago. I'll post a photo when it's healed. 😆 There was a very cool car inside:

As I was leaving the grocery store today, I noticed some leaf color. I'm trying to decide when and where to go later this month to see more autumn color.
