The defense, contrary to what the press said, did about as fine a job as they could given their hand. Casey Anthony is guilty. And upon further thought, I think you might be right: maybe jurors do have the CSI mentality; they want all the pegs to fit into all the holes. I think there was doubt. Reasonable is arguable. But I'd much rather a guilty person go free than see an innocent killed. And though the jurors were not supposed to consider punishment when making their verdict, you know that Casey's life was lingering over their head.<br /><br />Curious: what are your thoughts on the death penalty?
